Help is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language horror thriller film directed by Rajeev Virani in his directional debut. It stars Bobby Deol and Mugdha Godse and marks the debut of Sophia Handa in a supporting role. Shreyas Talpade also has a special role in the film although it was not marketed as his film. It was released on 13 August 2010, making it the first Bollywood horror film to release on Friday the 13th. The film was shot in Mauritius.
“Help” is a supernatural horror thriller that follows Vic (Bobby Deol), a successful horror film director, and his wife Pia (Mugdha Godse). Their marriage is strained, and they travel to Mauritius to care for Pia’s ailing father. Upon returning to Pia’s childhood home, they encounter a malevolent spirit that possesses Pia, leading to a series of terrifying events. With the help of a parapsychologist, Dr. Aditya Motwani (Shreyas Talpade), Vic must uncover the dark family secrets and save his wife from the vengeful spirit of her deceased twin sister, Dia.
