Synopsis –
Honest and upright Govind Narang (Sunil Shetty) falls in love with a young woman named Sudha (Sushmita Sen). But due to circumstances involving an unknown pregnancy by a policeman, Govind is forced to marry Pushpa, since the policeman refuses to marry her. All is well for Govind after the marriage, but not with Pushpa and her hot-headed brother Laxman as they learn about Govind’s old relationship with Sudha. When Laxman finds out about Pushpa’s infidelity, he poisons her, and she soon passes away. Seeing his wife dead and to wash away his past, Govind and his sister Ratna relocate to Bombay. The residents of Azad Nagar have always been terrorized by Johnny and his brother Danny Handsome. One day, Govind attempts to defend the rights of a young woman and seriously beats up Danny. When Johnny attempts revenge on Govind, he is humiliated, shaved, and stripped naked on the outskirts of Bombay by Govind and other residents. The questions remain: Will Govind ever recover to take revenge on his perpetrators? Will he be granted justice by anyone in Azad Nagar?
