The plot is about a future time of year 2043. Here a robot named Harlan starts a big fight against humans, causing a lot of trouble and damage. Years later, Atlas Shepherd, whose mom made Harlan, promises to find and catch Harlan who is now hiding on a faraway planet. When her spaceship is hit, she joins forces with another robot ‘Smith’ to stay alive. Even though she doesn’t trust machines, she and Smith become friends, similar to unexpected friendships in stories where the little guy wins.
