Dharm Adhikari is a 1986 Hindi-language action film, produced by U.V. Suryanarayana Raju under the Gopi Krishna Movies banner, presented by Krishnam Raju and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. The film stars Dilip Kumar, Jeetendra, Sridevi in the pivotal roles and music composed by Bappi Lahiri. The film is a remake of the Telugu movie Bobbili Brahmanna (1984), starring Krishnam Raju, Sharada, Jayasudha, both movies are made by the same banner and director. Two roles of Dilip Kumar and Jeetendra are played by Krishnam Raju in Telugu.[5] In Bobbili Brahmanna, the two lead roles are played by Krishnam Raju (as double role), while in Dharm Adhikari, the two roles are played by Dilip Kumar and Jeetendra.

Story:

The compelling story of honest and ethical Dharamraj of Nand Gaon village, whose very name instills fear amongst wrong-doers. Ironically, the very man whose family has been administering justice for four generations, must now distance himself against his very own brother, Prakash; wife, Savitri; and daughter, Aarti, while the villagers, headed by Chaudhry and Shastri, charge him of having an illicit and extra-marital affair with a widow.

Ek Hasina Do Diwane is a 1972 Hindi-language romance film, produced by Kantibhai Zaveri under the R. G. Films banner and directed by S. M. Abbas. It stars Jeetendra, Babita, Vinod Khanna in pivotal roles, and the music was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji.

Synopsis:

Amar an orthodox & Prakash flirtatious are best friends. Prakash loves a foreign-returned rose Neeta. Since he is diffident to express his love, he seeks Amar‘s help when Neeta tunes towards Amar and he too loves her. Despite the refusal of her father, Neeta espouses Amar. Soon after, disputes arise, as they belong to various lifestyles. Exploiting it, begrudged Prakash arouses the situation. Once, on the occasion of Neeta’s birthday, Prakash throws carousing. Spotting it, furious Amar smacks Neeta when she leaves her autocratic father and sends a divorce notice. Immediately, Amar moves to get her back when he is mortified, yet, he opposes the divorce. Afterward, Amar learns about the arrival of his mother who spends her life on pilgrimage. Thus, he goes with a mutual agreement with Neeta to give divorce provided to be with him as newlyweds until his mother’s return which she accepts. During that period, Neeta understands the sanctity of marriage and the righteousness of Amar and her vanity subsides. Moreover, her father also bows his head down to the kindness of Amar‘s mother. At last, Neeta refuses to divorce and asks forgiveness when Prakash also reforms and pleads pardon. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the reunion of the couple.

Safar is a 1970 Indian Hindi romantic drama film produced by the Mushir-Riaz duo and directed by Asit Sen, based on a novel by Bengali writer Ashutosh Mukherjee.The film stars Ashok Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila Tagore and Feroz Khan in lead roles. The film became the tenth top-grossing production of the year. It won one Filmfare Awards and four Bengal Film Journalists’ Association Awards. Rajesh Khanna received a nomination for BFJA Awards for Best Actor (Hindi). Asit Sen remade the 1956 Bengali film Chalachal, which was directed by him, in Hindi as Safar (1970). As per review by critics, Safar was carried more than ably by Khanna’s immense charm at the peak of his popularity. Rajesh Khanna beautifully conveys his character’s desperation and his conviction that surviving by a slender thread is not really living. This film is counted among the 17 consecutive hit films of Rajesh Khanna between 1969 and 1971, by adding the two-hero films Maryada and Andaz to the 15 consecutive solo hits he gave from 1969 to 1971

Kismat is a 1968 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Manmohan Desai, produced by Kamal Mehra and released under the banner of Pride of Asia Films. It stars Biswajeet, Babita, Helen and Kamal Mehra in prominent roles. Other notable actors in the film are Bhagwan Sinha, Murad, M. B. Shetty, Hari Shivdasani, Hiralal, Indra Kumar, Jagdish Raj, Polsan, Prem Kumar, Paul Sharma, Tun Tun and Ullhas.

It can be categorised as a romantic family thriller film. It was shot in 14 reels, using 35 mm film format in Eastman Color.

The film has been noted mainly for the soundtrack given by O.P. Nayyar, which included three songs that became very popular – “Aao Huzoor Tum Ko”, “Kajra Mohabbat Wala” and “Aankhon Mein Qayamat”. Biswajeet is one of the first heroes in Bollywood to be dressed as a woman on screen for the song Kajra Mohabbat Wala.

This film was the last collaboration between singer Shamshad Begum and music director O.P. Nayyar. Shamshad Begum recorded her last song for O.P. Nayyar, “Kajra Mohabbat Wala” along with Asha Bhosle in this film.

Paise Ki Gudiya is a 1974 Hindi language film.
Kind-hearted and compassionate, Dr. Vinayak is always willing to lend a helping hand to the poor and needy, often not charging them for any surgery, but instead recovering his fees from his more affluent patients. When he returns from Banaras, he brings home a good-looking young woman, who he introduces to his wife, Prabha, as Madhavi, the orphan of a former employee. Madhavi is accepted by Prabha, who asks her to work as a maidservant, and subsequently gets to meet Vinayak’s daughter, Namita, and one of her many boyfriends, Rohit. Romance enters Madhavi’s life when Vinayak’s son, Vijay, returns from abroad. Both fall in love with each other and Vijay wants to marry Madhavi. His dad, however, wants him to marry Neela Gupta, but Vijay only wants to marry Madhavi. It is then Vijay finds out that Madhavi is really the daughter of a Banaras-based prostitute, and that Madhavi has herself lived with prostitutes and courtesans while in Banaras. Will this knowledge make Vijay change his mind, or marry Madhavi and thereby alienate himself from his very own family?

Anjaan Raahen is a 1974 Hindi language film. Anand is a London returned teacher who has sought employment in a local school in India. His co-teachers are Geeta (Asha Parekh), Girdharilal (Jankidas), Pandey (Asit Sen), Lalita (Lalita Kumari), and Principal (Brahm Bhardwaj). Anand’s students, though fairly mature, lack sex education, and he discusses this at length with the other teachers and the Principal, and he is met with opposition. Anand is attracted to Geeta, but Geeta shows no interest in him. Several female students are attracted to Anand. Anand naively is openly friendly with all his students, however, Anand faces trouble when one of his female students becomes pregnant, and he is accused of raping her.

Chor Machaye Shor is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Ashok Roy and produced by N. N. Sippy. The film stars Shashi Kapoor, Mumtaz, Danny Denzongpa, Madan Puri, Asrani and Asit Sen. The music is by Ravindra Jain. Asrani earned a Filmfare nomination for best performance in a comic role, the only nomination for the film.The film became a “superhit” and earned the second spot at the box office in 1974. It was filmed at the Pratapgad fort in Maharashtra.

Because of the film’s success, the film’s producer (N. N. Sippy), cast (Shashi Kapoor, Danny Denzongpa, Asrani, Madan Puri) and music composer (Ravindra Jain) teamed up again for Fakira (1976), which also became a box office hit.

“Le Jayenge, Le Jayenge Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” is a very popular song from the film which Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) later adopted it as its film title. The film was remade in Telugu as Bhale Dongalu (1976 film)
