Indian Prime Minister Narendra takes oath as the Prime Minister for a record third time. Earlier today, PM Narendra Modi interacted with all MPs who are most likely to be part of the Council of ministers in the new government. They were all seen at the PM’s residence in New Delhi. This comes as PM Modi is set to take oath for a record third time today (June 9, 2024).
Earlier today, PM Modi also payed homage to martyrs at the National war memorial.
Last week, India announced results of its 18th Lok Sabha elections last week, where the NDA won a majority. The INDIA bloc of opposition parties won 234 seats, keeping the BJP away from securing an absolute majority.
