The action of the film unfolds at the end of the 14th century, at a time when medieval Europe is still recovering from war and destruction. A group of five soldiers, who have survived the horrors of battle, embark on a long journey home, dreaming of peace and tranquility after long years of service.
These five are the brave and experienced warrior Balthazar, the mysterious archer Liam, the young and inexperienced soldier Gabriel, the silent and powerful fighter Marcus and the wise and old doctor Thomas. They come from different social strata and regions, but the war united them into a strong team, where everyone trusts their lives to others. While traveling through dense forests and abandoned villages, the group encounters a series of strange and frightening events. They first encounter a wounded villager who tells them ominous rumors about the ancient fortress of Adormidera located nearby. According to legend, this fortress was abandoned due to the terrible events that happened there many years ago. Locals believe that an evil has settled in the fortress, which brings death to all who dare to approach. Despite the warning, the soldiers decide to hide in the fortress for the night, hoping to find shelter and protection from the approaching storm. However, once inside, they quickly realize that the sinister stories have a basis. Strange sounds, eerie visions and unseen forces begin to haunt them, testing their nerves and endurance. As the story progresses, the soldiers discover that the fortress of Adormidera harbors a dark secret. The ancient evil that was locked within its walls has awakened and is now looking for a way out. Each of the heroes must face their deepest fears and make decisions that will determine their fate. During these trials, the audience learns more about the past of each of the soldiers, their dreams and fears. Their journey becomes not only a physical struggle for survival, but also a spiritual journey that reveals the true nature of bravery, friendship and sacrifice.
