Synopsis
Ajith is a college student and an aspiring filmmaker residing in Thunga Boys Hostel, who is criticised by his friends for not having a proper “story and structure” in his films. One night before the exams, the hostel warden Ramesh Kumar commits suicide with a note blaming Ajith and his friends behind his death. Without any choice, Ajith and his friends decides to get rid of the body with the help from their “pothead” seniors Genie, Echo and Swami, where unpredictable yet hilarious situation ensues during the process. It is later revealed that Ramesh is actually alive and was helping Ajith in making a short film based on his death in the hostel with the help of Ajith’s cousin Nikki, but Ajith did not expected the pothead seniors’ help as the story did not demanded it. At 5:00 am, Ajith and his friends soon learn about the truth, but decides to help him in filming the climax. After shooting the climax, everyone heads back to study for their exams and Ramesh decide to correct his duties after realizing his irresponsible behaviour. While preparing for the exams, Ajith and the students learn that the principal has committed suicide as the question paper has been leaked and the exams are cancelled.
अजित एक कॉलेज छात्र और थुंगा बॉयज़ हॉस्टल में रहने वाला एक महत्वाकांक्षी फिल्म निर्माता है, जिसकी फिल्मों में उचित “कहानी और संरचना” न होने के कारण उसके दोस्तों द्वारा आलोचना की जाती है। परीक्षा से एक रात पहले, हॉस्टल वार्डन रमेश कुमार ने अपनी मौत के लिए अजित और उसके दोस्तों को दोषी ठहराते हुए एक नोट के साथ आत्महत्या कर ली। बिना किसी विकल्प के, अजित और उसके दोस्त अपने “पोथेड” सीनियर्स जिनी, इको और स्वामी की मदद से शव से छुटकारा पाने का फैसला करते हैं, जहां प्रक्रिया के दौरान अप्रत्याशित लेकिन हास्यास्पद स्थिति उत्पन्न होती है। बाद में पता चला कि रमेश वास्तव में जीवित है और अजित की चचेरी बहन निक्की की मदद से हॉस्टल में उसकी मौत पर आधारित एक लघु फिल्म बनाने में अजित की मदद कर रहा था, लेकिन अजित को सीनियर्स की मदद की उम्मीद नहीं थी क्योंकि कहानी में इसकी मांग नहीं थी। . सुबह 5:00 बजे, अजित और उसके दोस्तों को जल्द ही सच्चाई के बारे में पता चला, लेकिन उन्होंने क्लाइमेक्स को फिल्माने में उनकी मदद करने का फैसला किया। क्लाइमेक्स की शूटिंग के बाद, हर कोई अपनी परीक्षा के लिए अध्ययन करने के लिए वापस चला जाता है और रमेश अपने गैर-जिम्मेदाराना व्यवहार को महसूस करने के बाद अपने कर्तव्यों को सही करने का फैसला करता है। परीक्षा की तैयारी के दौरान, अजित और छात्रों को पता चला कि प्रिंसिपल ने आत्महत्या कर ली है क्योंकि प्रश्न पत्र लीक हो गया है और परीक्षा रद्द कर दी गई है।
