Hari Prasad wants his lazy son Mohan to learn discipline, so he sends him to Major Prem Singh Ahluwalia in Kulu Manali. Mohan convinces his friend Sohan to pretend to be him. Sohan meets Prem and falls in love with his daughter Malti. Simultaneously, Sohan also falls for Kajal, who mistakes him for a chauffeur. Things take a turn when a woman named Esha is murdered, and Mohan is arrested. Sohan confesses to the crime, raising doubts about the roles of both impersonators in the murder.
