Guru Da Banda is a 2018 Punjabi-language animated historical drama that brings to life the heroic journey of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, one of the most revered warriors in Sikh history. Directed by Jassi Chana and produced under the banner of Pritam Films Production by Joginder Singh Bhangalia and Sonu Bhangalia, the film chronicles the transformation of a monk into a formidable warrior under the guidance of Guru Gobind Singh.
After becoming a disciple of Guru Gobind Singh in 1708, Banda Singh Bahadur led the Khalsa’s struggle against the Mughal Empire, leaving an indelible mark on Sikh history. His rise from a spiritual seeker to a revolutionary leader is beautifully captured in this animated film.
With powerful music by Param Agaaz and the title song sung by Daler Mehndi, Guru Da Banda is a tribute to the courage, valor, and faith of Banda Singh Bahadur.
