کیا شان سناؤں میں انکی
What glory shall I narrate of those
جنکے تھے نانا پیارے نبیؐ
Whose beloved grandfather was the Prophet (S.A.W) so dear?
دیں پہ تھی لٹائی جاں اپنی
They sacrificed their lives willingly
وہ پیارے حسینِ ابن علیؓ
Those beloved ones, the beautiful sons of Ali (R.A)
تلواروں کے سائے میں رہ کر
Amidst the shadows of swords
حق سے نہ ہٹے تھے پیچھے قدم
They never strayed from the path of truth
ہر سمت عدو کی بھیڑ میں بھی
In every direction, amidst the enemy’s crowd
ثابت تھے رہے وہ قدم بہ قدم
They stood firm, step by step
بتلا کہ گئے جگ سارے کو
They announced to the whole world
کٹ جانا ہے پر جھکنا نہیں
“We must depart, but never bow down
گر جان بھی جاتی ہے، جاتی رہے
Even if our lives are taken, let them be taken
اک فرض قضاء بھی کرنا نہیں
But we shall not forsake our duty”
کیا تمکو پتہ ہے کربل کا
Do you know what Karbala was like?
ہر ایک نظارہ کیسا تھا
Every scene, how it unfolded?
جب پیارے نبی کے لختِ جگر
When the beloved Prophet’s kin
کا تن جب عرش پہ پہنچا تھا
Lay on the ground, their blood spilled
کافر بھی پشیماں غلطی پر
Even the disbelievers regretted their mistake
سر کفر نے اپنا پیٹا تھا
When tyranny tormented its own soul
مردار ہیں یہ سب ابنِ سبا
They are the pride of the Prophet’s progeny
روتے ہی رہیں گے حشر تلک
They will weep until Judgment Day
وہ زندہ تھا وہ زندہ ہے
He was alive, he is alive
وہ زندہ رہے گا حشر تلک
He will remain alive until Judgment Day
آقا ﷺ کی جان ہیں ابنِ علیؓ
They are the soul of the Master, son of Ali (R.A)
آقا ﷺ کی شان ہیں ابنِ علیؓ
They are the pride of the Master, son of Ali (R.A)
ہے فرش پہ چرچا عرش تلک
Their mention resonates even on the throne
وہ عالی مقام ہیں ابنِ علیؓ
They hold a lofty status, sons of Ali (R.A)
رہتے ہیں ہمارے سینوں ہیں
In our hearts they reside
بو بکرؓ و عمرؓ عثمانؓ و علیؓ
Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman, and Ali (R.A)
