A team of researchers travels across China in search of traces of prehistoric animals. By chance, they find a place where huge monsters are not only well preserved, but also live and hunt as if nothing had happened. The joy of getting to know the finds is spoiled by a hunter named Harker, who opened fire at the most inopportune moment. Now people have to confront the raging monsters and flee.
