Not all of the makeup used in this tutorial is labeled as waterproof or water resistant, but as long as you KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF YOUR FACE, you will not have any problems with it becoming messy or unsightly. Depending on your eyelid type, you may have to touch up your eyes after a few hours though… be aware! ♥ Feel free to use this look for your everyday Gothic style, experimental mermaiding makeup, OR for Halloween! This is a GREAT waterproof makeup tutorial for Halloween costumes that are related to mermaids, sirens or demons. I wore this look in downtown Singapore (a VERY tropical country) while pushing my 30 lbs silicone mermaid tail in a suitcase 20 minutes away from our hotel (SWEAT GALORE!). I also swam with this Goth makeup on in a tank at ADEX Singapore 2019 AND wear the look in Lake Michigan often. Therefore, if you live in an area where you are guaranteed to sweat a lot OR if you plan on swimming with your makeup on, please know that this look will be PERFECT for your needs.
