I take you through all 8 haunted houses and the popular Terror Tram featuring Us & Nope plus the scare zones! This was such a fun night out in Hollywood with a few surprises along the way. I also make a stop inside Hogsmeade to see the death eaters in action. Finally I share my thoughts and my house rankings for this event. Starting out from our resort: Port Orleans Riverside – Royal Guest Rooms, we Uber over to Universal Orlando Resort for an afternoon on some of the best Universal has to offer. We first make a B-Line for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to experience the brand new roller coaster Hagid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. The coaster was open from 11am until 5pm on the day we visited and the approximate wait time was 120 minutes at the time of riding.

Prior to the commencement of Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios Park, we enjoy Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, lunch at The Burger Digs, a ride on the Hogwarts Express, E.T. Adventure and the Woodywood Pecker kids coaster, before meeting up with Chloe.

We opted to use the free Stay and Scream service, in which you can wait in a designated area of the park, whilst the park is closed for day guests and set-up for horror nights. We chose to use the one in Simpson Land. Using Stay and Scream means you get the benefit of already being in the park when the event commences. You also get early access to two or three mazes that are close to the area you chose. We found the Simpson Area was nice and spacious, it had food and drink offerings and plenty of seating. They did allow us into Moe’s and Krusty Burger once the park had been cleared of day guests.

During Horror Nights we utilised Express Pass (price starts at $120ish) and managed to hit every house and scare zone. These included Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, Universal Monsters and more! Check out our ratings on the scare-o-meter to see what we thought.
