We have all heard the phrase, ‘Small Town America.’ Most of the time we get a quick picture in our head, but what does it really look like? Is it really a charming place to be? Where do we find it? Does it really exist?
These places do exist and aren’t just another Hollywood fallacy. Juliette is one of those towns, as well as a filming location for Fried Green Tomatoes.
What we enjoy about small towns like Juliette is how much character the buildings and people have. Everyone is on a first-name basis and will go out of their way to help in any way they can. A true community feel.
We purposefully make our way across the U.S. on the back roads so we pass by these communities. They are a breath of fresh air, away from the overcrowded, stressed, busy, hustle and bustle of the big cities.
